Intellectual Property Policy

1. OWNERSHIP OF WORK All solutions, code, designs, and materials developed during the Hackathon ("Work Product") shall remain the intellectual property of the respective participant(s) or team(s) who created them, unless a separate written agreement specifies otherwise. 2. LICENSE GRANT By participating, you grant the Hackathon organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to showcase, display, and promote your Work Product for marketing and promotional purposes, with proper attribution. 3. THIRD-PARTY TOOLS & LIBRARIES Participants are responsible for ensuring that any third-party tools, frameworks, libraries, or datasets used comply with their respective licenses. Open-source code must be used in accordance with its license terms. 4. CONFIDENTIALITY Participants agree not to disclose any confidential information shared by the organizers, sponsors, or other participants during the Hackathon. 5. REPRESENTATIONS By registering, you represent and warrant that: (a) your Work Product is original; (b) it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights; and (c) you have the authority to grant the rights described herein. 6. DISPUTES Any disputes regarding intellectual property ownership arising from the Hackathon shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration. 7. AMENDMENTS The organizers reserve the right to amend this IP Policy. Participants will be notified of material changes. By accepting these terms, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Intellectual Property Policy and all associated Hackathon Terms & Conditions.
